Hello!

 I am Jessica, owner of Jessica Mehu Photography LLC, and co-founder of born. Birth Photography.  

 

For months you anticipate the arrival of your precious baby. Wonder what they will look like, cherish every kick, roll and hiccup. Time seems to go by so slowly as you are so anxious to hold them in your arms. Then the time comes... the first time you lay eyes on your brand new baby, and now you want time to stand still. You want to remember every detail of every stage. The wispy newborn hair, pudgy lips and cheeks, tiny fingers and toes. Every smile, yawn, and even that adorable pouty lip. But now time is flying.

They grow so fast and change every day. 

My goal as your artist is to preserve these moments for you in an artistic, archivable way so you don't forget. You can look back on not only the tiny details of your baby, but the excitement, bond, and love felt during this priceless time. I want your baby to be able to look back at the time surrounding their birth when they're grown, and feel how much they are loved. 

I capture emotion and love with my camera, as well as the sweet details of your precious baby as they grow. This is what I love, so this is all I do. 

I have been told since I was a little girl that I'm a "baby whisperer" and  have always had a natural draw towards babies and children.

Aside from a photographer, I'm a mother to four incredible children. My journey with them is what inspired me to do what I do, because I know first hand how quickly they grow, and how easy it is to forget.

 I established Jessica Mehu Photography in 2011 and have been living a dream ever since. I can't express in words how rewarding it has been to capture these amazing families and special moments from pregnancy on. I am constantly learning and growing as a photographer, and I'm very excited to continue this journey.
